When life brings you down, sometimes you stay down. But for two local men and fathers, this was not the case thanks to the Spokane community.

Both Jade Britton and Anthony Horn are trying to get their lives back on track after separate tragedies sent them dark paths.

Horn is in a wheelchair after a bad motorcycle crash. The crash served as a wake up call for Horn.

Britton is also in a wheelchair after he was stabbed eight times. He was involved with gangs and drugs and at one point attempted suicide.

Now, after both struggled with homelessness, they are trying to turn their lives around.

Hearing of their struggles, one man decided to step up and help make a difference in their lives. Using the power of social media, he enlisted the help of friends to organize a car wash.
